I am incredibly satisfied with this stroller, I am an Engineer and I identified it to be especially nicely developed and constructed. It tracks perfectly straight with the front wheel locked in the fixed position, and does not pull to any side at all. The front wheel has certainly no wobble, I have heard this complaint about swivel wheel strollers, but this one particular tracks perfectly. There is a great feature that I have not noticed on other swivel wheel strollers, it has a lock/unlock release lever under the manage, so you can lock or release the front swivel wheel on the go, and not have to bend more than and locate the release above the swivel wheel like on other models. The cup holder and storage tray are superb excellent and have rubber tabs to hold drinks securely. The kid tray swings out of the way to guide getting youngsters in and out. The top quality of all supplies used on the stroller are above what I expected, and what I have observed put to use on other strollers. The adjustable rubberized take care of is great since I'm 6'-4" and my other young children like to push the stroller at times as well. Storage basket underneath is ample and can be removed. Folding the stroller is hassle-free, you grab (two) red finger tabs just forward of the take care of and push the button on the appropriate 1, and it collapses simply. There is a swing bracket to hold it in the closed position. A common complaint is that joggers are not tiny when folded, and this 1 is no totally different. Removing the rear wheels is relatively easy. and the front one has a spin remover like a bicycle. Assembly was uncomplicated(it is 90% assembled in the box, only (4) tiny screws to attach the plastic protector above the swivel wheel, all other components snapped in place which includes parent tray, kid tray, and the rear wheels(you want to inflate the tires). Seat adjustment is straight forward with a locking tab and strap system that lets you coose any position in the strap range.
My only complaint so far is when the faux lamb seat cover is in spot, and my one year old daughter has a winter coat on, the permanent seat belts are snug, seat belt extensions are included that resolve the predicament, but increase the number of clips to get your kid in and out. In the summer time, I assume this won't be an situation due to the fact the lamb seat cover and winter coat aren't required, and the seat belt extensions will not be necessary. The only other item I will note, but it is not one I care about, is there are not pockets on the canopy, seatback, or stroller for misc. items like I have observed on other strollers. I did get (2) modest pockets on either side of the stroller that hold the infant carrier straps when not in use.
Some other material that may enable you with your selection. Very first, this model is the very same as the In-Step Grand Safari if you want to price tag compare. The major variations I saw are the wheel style, color scheme, and warranty. I went with the aluminum spoked wheels on the Schwinn vs. the molded 5 spoke wheels on the Grand Safari. Also the plastic parts are black on the schwinn vs. grey on Grand Safari. (I liked the black to aid hide future scuffs) Also the canopy/seat color schemes are completely different. The Schwinn has a 5 year warranty and I believe the Grand Safari is 1 year. The Turismo and Grand Safari have the spring suspension on the rear wheels(you can zoom in on the photo and see the springs) that the reduce In-Step models like the Safari do not have. The MP3 speaker is a single speaker, not stereo. The front of the seat below the legs is fixed and does not tiltdown, some other Schwinn strollers have tilt down, and this a single does not(not an isssue). There is a small clear plastic rain visor constructed-in to the front of the canopy, that folds up below the front of the canopy when not in use. It is only a couple of inches wide, and I don't believe it would be quite valuable in the rain and I have not had a want to attempt it yet. There is a clear viewing window in the top of the canopy with a velcro cover flap.
Overall, I would most certainly recommend this stroller to others.
I don't normally write evaluations, but have so enjoyed this item I wanted to assistance other individuals who may well be trying to sort via the nerve racking process of deciding on a stroller! I wasn't positive how it could accomodate many vehicle seats, but you set it in the stroller (back sets into child cup holder) then straps tighten it in. It works Rather nicely. I initially compared two other jogging strollers that had been $100 additional, and this 1 popped up the day I went to order. I am highly glad it did. We have taken this to an outdoor wedding, and we farm, so this works wonderful on the gravel we walk on. The manage is adjustable - so fantastic for tall and shorter. I am 5' 10" and the handle is not all the way up for me. On windy days, I have pulled the stroller cover up to meet the vehicle seat cover and he's been fairly protected. There certainly is not something I would alter on this product. I have not employed the swivel function much- I am happy with the tire becoming straight. It is relatively painless to fold up- we can fit it into our car trunk (it is a tight fit), but with the tires this size, that is inevitable. I think it is effectively worth the dollars, provided the boost usage you will get out of it.
